ABS PLC Splitter
Details
Symmetrical Optical Power Splitting
1×32 optical power splitting across 1260–1650 nm wavelength range, supporting GPON, EPON, XG-PON, and NG-PON2 platforms for scalable FTTx and enterprise fiber access networks. Low Insertion Loss
≤16.9 dB insertion loss and minimal uniformity variation (≤1.5 dB) ensure balanced power distribution to all 32 outputs, reducing link margin penalties and enabling longer reach or higher split configurations. Bend-Insensitive Fiber
G.657A1 bend-insensitive singlemode fiber with 2.0 mm diameter cable allows tight routing in crowded cabinets, wall-mount enclosures, and outdoor distribution boxes without performance degradation.
Pre-terminated Connectors
Pre-terminated SC/APC connectors on all input and output fibers eliminate field splicing requirements, accelerate installation timelines, and reduce labor costs for large-scale operator rollouts.
Rugged ABS Housing
Rugged ABS box housing (120×80×18 mm) provides mechanical protection and organized fiber management, compatible with 19-inch racks, street cabinets, building distribution frames, and outdoor sealed enclosures.
Wide Operating Temperature
Extended operating temperature range from -40 to +85 °C ensures stable performance in harsh outdoor environments, desert climates, industrial zones, and uncontrolled cabinet conditions.

Flexible Customization Options

Split Ratio Options

Beyond the standard 1×32 configuration, we manufacture symmetrical splitters from 1×2 to 1×64 and balanced splitters from 2×2 to 2×64. Cascaded split strategies (e.g., 1×4 primary + 1×8 secondary) are commonly deployed in distributed FTTx topologies.

Connector Types

While SC/APC is the default for this model, we offer SC/UPC, LC/APC, LC/UPC, and FC/APC terminations based on your passive infrastructure standards. Connector polish quality is verified with interferometry to ensure <50 dB return loss for APC variants and >50 dB for UPC variants.

Fiber Type Options

Standard production uses G.657A1 bend-insensitive fiber for 2.0 mm diameter cables. For legacy network compatibility or specific deployment requirements, we can substitute G.652D standard singlemode fiber, G.657A2 enhanced bend-insensitive fiber, or other ITU-T compliant fiber types.

Housing Options

While this model uses a compact ABS box, alternative packaging includes bare fiber fan-out (for splice closure integration), mini-module format (for high-density cassettes), LGX cassette form factor (for telecom standard racks), 1U/2U rack-mount chassis (for equipment room installations), and IP65-rated sealed enclosures (for outdoor pole-mount or street cabinet use).

Application Scenarios

product-800-800

FTTx and FTTH Access Networks

The primary application for 1×32 splitters is residential and business fiber-to-the-premises access networks. Deployed in street cabinets, building basements, or aerial splice closures, the splitter enables a single OLT PON port to serve up to 32 subscriber locations.

Passive Optical LAN (POL)

Office buildings, hotels, hospitals, and educational campuses deploy POL systems to replace traditional Ethernet switching infrastructure with passive optical distribution. The 1×32 splitter connects centralized optical line terminal equipment to multiple floors, wings, or remote buildings.

Data Center Monitoring

Data center operators install optical splitters in monitoring networks to passively tap traffic for security analysis, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting without disrupting production data flows. A 1×32 splitter can feed monitoring probes and network analyzers.

Campus and MTU Networks

University campuses, industrial parks, and apartment complexes use centralized or distributed splitting to deliver fiber connectivity to dormitories, research labs, tenant office suites, and residential units. A single fiber trunk from the campus core network feeds the splitter.

CATV and RF Video Networks

Cable television operators and broadband service providers use optical splitters to distribute 1550 nm RF video signals across hybrid fiber-coax (HFC) architectures. The splitter feeds multiple fiber nodes or coaxial bridger amplifiers from a central headend.

Industrial Infrastructure

Manufacturing facilities, transportation hubs, and critical infrastructure sites deploy fiber optics for SCADA systems, security camera networks, and operational communications. Optical splitters enable centralized network equipment to monitor and control distributed sensors.
