Polarity Configuration Options
This breakout cable series supports multiple polarity schemes to accommodate diverse network architectures:
Type-A (Straight-Through)
Fiber position 1 at MPO/MTP maps to fiber 1 at breakout LC/SC, maintaining sequential order. Ideal for interconnecting MPO cassettes or patch panels with predefined polarity.
Type-B (Reversed Pairs)
Transmit and receive fibers are swapped within each duplex pair (positions 1-2 become 2-1, 3-4 become 4-3, etc.). Standard configuration for connecting 40G/100G QSFP transceivers directly to 10G/25G SFP+ optics arrays.
Type-C (Flipped Array)
Complete reversal of fiber positions (1→12, 2→11… for 12F cables). Used in specialized trunk-to-trunk interconnection scenarios.

Cable Length Range
Standard catalog lengths from 1m to 30m, with custom lengths available from 0.5m to 100m in 0.5m increments. Longer assemblies (100m+) available for campus or inter-building applications with appropriate cable jacket upgrades.
Connector Polarity & Gender
Specify Type-A, Type-B, or Type-C polarity for MPO/MTP trunk connector. Choose MPO male (with pins) or female (without pins) to match infrastructure. Breakout side available in LC or SC, UPC or APC polish, simplex or duplex configuration.
Fiber Type Selection
Choose from OM3 (10G-optimized), OM4 (40G/100G multimode), OM5 (SWDM-capable wideband multimode), or OS2 (single-mode 9/125µm) fiber based on distance requirements and transceiver compatibility.
Jacket Rating & Color
Select LSZH (low-smoke zero-halogen) for plenum spaces, OFNP (plenum-rated) for air-handling environments, PVC for cost-sensitive general applications, or outdoor-rated armored jackets for OSP deployment. Custom jacket colors available for circuit identification or aesthetic requirements.
Fiber Count Options
Available in 8-fiber, 12-fiber, 16-fiber, 24-fiber, and higher counts up to 144-fiber for trunk consolidation applications. Breakout configurations can be asymmetric (e.g., 24F MPO to 8× LC Duplex + 8× SC Simplex) for specialized equipment interfaces.
Breakout Boot & Fanout Length
Standard breakout boot with 1.5m fanout legs, or customize fanout length from 0.5m (compact cabinet installations) to 3.0m (extended reach to distant panels). Reinforced boots available for high-vibration industrial environments.
Application Scenarios
Top-of-Rack Switch Connectivity
Connect 40G/100G QSFP28/QSFP56 switch ports to multiple 10G/25G SFP+ server NICs using a single high-density MPO trunk, reducing cable congestion and simplifying moves-adds-changes in hyperscale environments.
01
Structured Cabling Infrastructure
Interface between MPO/MTP cassette modules or fiber distribution panels and active equipment, enabling modular architecture that separates horizontal distribution (MPO trunks) from equipment connections (LC/SC breakouts).
02
Storage Area Networks
Aggregate multiple Fiber Channel connections from storage arrays into consolidated MPO uplinks to SAN directors, improving airflow management and reducing rack unit consumption in storage cabinets.
03
Telecom Equipment Rooms
Connect DWDM multiplexers, OTN switches, or optical line terminals to fiber distribution frames using breakout assemblies that provide individual circuit testing access while maintaining trunk-side density.
04
Campus Backbone to Access Transition
Transition from high-fiber-count OS2 single-mode MPO trunk cables in building risers to individual LC duplex connections serving floor-level network closets or wireless access point distribution.
05

Custom Engineering Support
For projects requiring specialized configurations not covered by standard options-such as hybrid fiber-type assemblies, non-standard connector combinations, or integration with proprietary equipment interfaces-our engineering team provides application-specific design services including prototype development, compatibility testing, and documentation preparation.
